Type of Image Adjustment

Type of Image Adjustment
  • The Image Reduction or Image Resize process creates a gobo with a specific image size when projected in front of the projection surface. A fixture hung directly in front of the projection surface is defined as being "image centered."

  • The Keystone process corrects the shape of an image when projecting off-center to the projection surface. A fixture not hung directly in front of the projection surface is considered"off-center." Fixtures hung above, below, to the left or right of 90° perpendicular will require Keystone adjustment.

  • The combined Image Reduction & Keystone process corrects for both the shape and size of an image when projecting off-center to the projection surface.

Lens Degree

The lens degree, also known as the barrel or beam angle, is used to calculate the standard projection size of your image. Sizes for independent lens usually range from 5°, 10°, 14°, 19°, 26°, 36°, 50°. The alternative is a Zoom Lens. This lens usually has a range of 10° - 60°. Please select your Lens Type and enter either your degree for Standard Lens Type or the full range of degrees for Zoom Lens Type in the field. Then select the "Next" button to move forward.

Please enter the final size you like your image to be. Enter a maximum height or width by selecting Wide or Tall from the dropdown beside the projection size input. Then select the "Next" button to move forward.
